High times for Braid House Day Centre in Livingston

Age Scotland member group, the Braid House Day Centre in Livingston, has produced a fantastic YouTube video called ‘Chocks Away!’.

The video charts the first glider flight of 87-year-young Peggy Campbell. A flight in a glider was one of Peggy’s personal ambitions. Fears of heights, up drafts, gusty winds and airborne attacks from seagulls have done nothing to deter her spirit!

This was also the first glider flight for Alyson McKenzie, the youngest care worker at Braid House. It looks like both high-fliers had a fantastic time.

The flights were made possible thanks to the Scottish charity Walking on Air.
