Plan your 2013 London to Paris cycle adventure

Were you inspired by Team GB’s cycling triumphs in the Olympics?  Age Scotland Community Fundraisers Gillian Forsyth and Pippa Zawisza propose an exciting challenge for 2013.

The dates for the Global Adventures Challenge Summer Cycle from London to Paris 2013 have been announced and will coincide with the 100th Anniversary of the Tour De France.  We are calling on Scotland’s budding cyclists to signup for this fantastic event, so whether you see yourself as the next Bradley Wiggins or simply enjoy an active holiday this is a great opportunity to fulfil your ambitions while doing something unbelievable for Charity.

The Challenge is from 17th – 21st July 2013, which means that you will be in Paris to witness the finish of the 100th Tour De France. The route will take you up the Champs Elysees and around the Arc de Triomphe only one day before the Tour De France and, as an extra bonus, you will be given an additional day in Paris to enjoy the hype of the world’s greatest cycling road race – while celebrating your own achievements.

If you would be interested in taking part, our Fundraising team would be happy to assist you.  Please contact them for more information by e-mailing: fundraising@agescotland.org.uk.
